NARS announced as charity partner for GEAR 2017

NARS is a charity partner for the 10k Grand East Anglian Run (GEAR), which takes place in King’s Lynn on 30th April 2017.

We’re really keen to field a great team of runners, all wearing NARS shirts and hopefully – raising lots of money for this fantastic cause. NARS Critical Care paramedics Carl Smith and Ryan Warwick respond to a very high number of calls in King’s Lynn and the surrounding area, so it’s great for us to be involved in this high-profile local event.

For those interested in running, we have a very few remaining places at a cost of £30. Public places are now SOLD OUT.

This will entitle you to a free entry place (worth £22.54) plus a free Team NARS running shirt.

If you are going to raise money for us, we would like you to use our preferred donation portal – Total Giving. The reason being, unlike Just Giving, we receive 100% of your sponsors’ donations. They do not charge monthly fees or commissions, which make a big impact on the amount we receive. We have already set GEAR up as an event, so you can link your individual page to it. Just visit and click on the <Fundraise for this appeal> button. A PDF of a paper sponsor form is linked below.

All you need to do is email us ( N.B. Please state the size of shirt you require! E.g. S/M/L/XL etc. We will then send you a PayPal invoice to simplify payment. You do not need a PayPal account, just a credit or debit card. You will then receive a PIN to register on the GEAR website.

Helping out: If you are unable to take part in the run, but would still like to get involved, please let us know. Part of our commitment to the event is to provide a minimum of 10 volunteers to help on the day, so any help would be really appreciated!

Finally, if you know any potential runners (or volunteers) who might be interested in taking part, please let them know.
